Introduction

The stock market is a battleground for dreams. Some of them are are realised while some bite the bitter dust. Wall Street Revolution provides a similar arena, on the virtual scale. We aim at acquainting the participants with the nuances of the stock markets by providing a surreal atmosphere of the same.

Event Specifications & Rules

Each participant will be given an individual console, where he/she can trade real-time on fictitious stocks with fictitious currency. The value of each stock fluctuates in accordance with news snippets that are regularly flashed, as well as the company history. Transactions are carried out as per the availability of the stocks. one can buy stock only when someone else is ready to sell at the agreed value. The procedure for trading is similar to that followed by the "real" stock  exchages, but on a simplified level.

Judging Criteria

The participant with the maximum portfolio value, at the end of the session, will be declared the winner.
